Tom McLaughlin recently joined the Precision Civil Engineering team as its director of planning and entitlements, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the real estate and development industries.

His expertise ranges from project management, due diligence, entitlements and final map and improvement plans, to legal and regulatory matters.

Prior to his employment at PCE, Tom was the director of planning/director of entitlements for Wathen Castanos Mazmanian, in which his responsibilities entailed acquisitions, due diligence entitlements, final map and improvement plan processing, budgeting and detailed reporting.

Tom also created due diligence protocol and reporting for property acquisitions for WCM, as well as developed and implemented a detailed transition/training program for the structuring of departments. Tom had an active role in new product development and was responsible for establishing and maintaining client relationships.
